I’m Kate, a mainly self-taught, plant-loving, waste-avoiding, beauty-seeking intuitive chef (and mum to two amazing humans and a whippet).
When I say ‘intuitive chef’, I mean that I understand the power of food to affect the mood and shape the vibe of a gathering. It’s my mission to create thoughtful food that’s delicious and perfect for the occasion - whatever it may be, whoever may be eating it.
I cook with the seasons and usually without recipes (unless it’s super-technical!).
I try where possible to source seasonal, local produce where the quality shines through. Suppliers include the excellent Penleigh Farm Butchers.
