We start with the essentials (where, when, who) and then think about the vibe. Do you want food to comfort and ground you in your location, or do you want to be transported somewhere—or to a moment in time, perhaps?

I’ll take on board your preferences, dietary requirements, budget and venue and present some menu options for you to choose from. Usually that’s the same menu for the whole group (whether individually plated or sharing plates) but I can always cater for specific dietary restrictions, too.
You pick your menu, pay a deposit and I get planning!

Usually, I’ll come and cook at your location although some aspects might be prepared offsite. I can set the table, provide waiting staff if required and serve and clear away your meal.
The kitchen will be left spotless and all you’ll need to do is enjoy the company and delicious meal.

Can you serve our meal and clear plates?
For up to 6 guests I can clear and serve; for more guests, I recommend a server to serve, clear and top up drinks (which I can arrange for £20/hr).
Should we choose a plated or family-style sharing menu?
Plated options are more formal, but do allow you to start eating immediately and can work better if you have speeches or toasts, or if you want the meal to be finished in a certain timescale. Sharing platters make for a more relaxed and sociable dining experience, allowing everyone to choose for themselves. It’s also possible to combine the two: a plated starter and family-style dishes for main works really well.
Can you cook something different for the kids?
Of course! We can discuss that at menu planning time according to preferences. Whatever we settle on, it’ll be freshly prepared, wholesome and beautifully presented.
What if we need to cancel or our numbers change?
I request a 50% deposit on confirmation of booking; this is refundable (minus a £75 admin fee) up to 3 weeks in advance of the event date. Adding numbers is fine up to three days before the event date, which is when you’ll be required to pay the balance.
How much do you charge?
I can cater for brunches, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, canape parties and buffets from £25 up to £150 per head. The minimum job spend is £250.

I am based in Frome, Somerset and can cater for private dining within a 30 mile radius - for jobs further afield, please send me a message.
Do you provide meal prep / fridge filling / delivery meals?
Yes! At busy periods when you have a house full of guests or when renting an airbnb, a helping hand with meals is always welcome. I can come and cook meals for you in advance, deliver freshly prepared platters (breakfast, sharing boards, afternoon tea, buffet meals) according to your needs. Get in touch to find out more.
